My story

I was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Kentucky before earning my master’s in communication disorders from Eastern Kentucky University. For 29 years, I helped students find their voice as a speech pathologist, speech team coach, and creative movement teacher in Fayette County Public Schools. Then, I turned a lifelong commitment to wellness into a career with the YMCA, starting as a part-time employee on High Street and growing into the role of director of wellness.

Through the years, I nurtured a passion for helping others navigate life’s transitions. I learned to listen, to ask questions, to define a vision and work towards it. I followed this passion to become a certified life coach, where I put it in practice — day after day, little by little, pushing towards growth.

It all starts with a conversation
